“Saysha changed my life. Because of her, I was able to reach my goal of training for and completing my first New York City Marathon... pain-free! I met with Saysha after a frustrating bout of patellar tendonitis and hitting a plateau with my physical therapist. Saysha was able to zero in on my deficits right away and guide me through a strength program designed to improve those areas. After some base-building, Saysha gave me the confidence to get under a barbell for the first time in my life, and provided extremely detailed feedback on my biomechanics and form. She's like a scientist, coach, and cheerleader all rolled into one! Because of our work in the months leading up to the marathon, my pain went away and never came back. I've referred Saysha to many others and very highly recommend her services!”

"That stuff you do with the barbell, that looks cool! What's it called?" Saysha directed me to some great information online to begin learning the compound lifts of squat, bench press, and deadlift. "How are your lifts looking? Send me some video!" It was clear I couldn't maneuver this landscape myself, and our first private lesson was nothing short of a revelation, and the beginning of my journey with strength training that quite literally changed my life. You certainly hear it all the time, but as I write this today, I cannot imagine a life without this practice.

My powerlifting training and programming with Saysha soon began to include nutrition, of which I was QUITE hesitant at first, but the body weight I was carrying around was not doing me any favors. As a man who was obese for nearly my entire adult life, learning what to eat and when to eat it, how to really cook for myself, and count my macronutrients again, completely changed my life. I have lost over 60 pounds since working with Saysha only a few years ago, over 120 pounds in total, and have completely recomposed my body to reduce fat and gain muscle. And guess what? I can still lift as much as I did 60 pounds ago.

Thank you Saysha for allowing me the space to grow, learn, fail, succeed, and ultimately become a word I would have never dreamed of using in my lifetime, an athlete.

“I had meniscus surgery and doctors pushing for hip surgery. I was in chronic pain from a torn labrum, cam lesion, and hip dysplasia—I was 27 but felt 70. Then I met Saysha.

I’ve been with her for over a year and she’s helped me change both physically and mentally. My hip pain is 95% gone without surgery. I’ve competed in powerlifting competitions (and kicked ass). I’m happier, healthier, and more confident—especially when walking through the “bro-zone” at the gym, something I was so timid to do before Saysha coached me to take up space.

All of this to say, Saysha is more than a work out app or online program. She does her homework to make a plan for your wants and needs no matter want shape you’re in or how broken you may feel. She practices what she preaches, she’s patient, funny, insanely knowledgeable, and pushes you to be your best self because she doesn’t accept anything less than 100%.

She helped me help myself—teaching me good form, good nutrition, and last but certainly not least, helped me conquer a great gym selfie. I have and will recommend her to everyone.”

"When I started my training with Saysha, I was wary of lifting weights after a stint at Crossfit. I thought weightlifting was a talent, but Saysha helped me see that lifting is a skill. Over time my confidence and comfort with the bar increased. While dealing with health issues that affected my meal planning, Saysha remained flexible and suggested alternatives. I felt supported throughout our training and knew that Saysha was with me every step of the way. When I decided to compete in my first powerlifting meet, I was super nervous and doubted myself. Once again Saysha took the time to break down the meet process, explain the gear, and create a great program for me. On the day of the meet she was there from warm up to the medals. I don't think I could've progressed this far without her patient, knowledgeable, honest, and open-minded coaching. She's firm but adapts quickly to the needs of the client and helps them tap into their abilities. I'd recommend Saysha to anyone, but especially people who are tired of being intimidated by the weight room. Light weight baby!"

“I’ve been training with Saysha for a year and the change in my confidence and strength has made all of the difference in my life. I've competed in a deadlift competition, am training for a strongwoman competition, and honestly can't imagine my life without regular workouts and movement. These are all things I never would believe to come out of my mouth even a year and a half ago. My favorite thing about Saysha is her body-positive attitude and incredible attention to detail. She has taught me so many variations on essential lifts and exercises that fit my body better and make it work harder, in a safe manner. I have never felt afraid to share when something hurts and doesn't feel right and we've always worked through finding the correct movements together. After years of discouraging training sessions at larger gyms, it's like a filter was lifted after a few sessions with Saysha. I could not recommend training with her more, especially if you've ever been intimidated to workout in public. You could not be in safer or more positive hands.”
